we're dreaming
Just got my malenky rookers on M83's latest, Hurry Up, We're Dreaming. and for me, the above, appearing in the first song, "Intro", is the highlight of the album.
The songs are all very traditionally structured . . . and it's a good album, but very mainstream. Those that liked Saturdays = Youth and Before The Dawn Heals Us more than they liked M83, Digital Shades Vol. 1 and Dead Cities, Red Seas, and Lost Ghosts might like this album more more than I currently do.
Next to the greats ("Carresses", "Kelly", "Facing That", "Coloring The Void", "Teen Angst", &c.) this album pales a little bit . . .
I'll wait for it to get better with time.
